LEARNING OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOMES


1. Assimilate the historical context and development of the modern global economy and its effects on economic inequity.

1.1. Define the content and structure of sources of information.

2. Understand the development of the digital landscape and how societal inequities translate to digital inequities and the digital divide.

2.1. Analyze how each stage of the production, dissemination, organization, location, evaluation, and use of information can be impacted by the power structure.

3. Take responsibility for Sustainable Development.

3.1. Recognize when information is missing, incomplete, or inaccessible and recognize the absence of information as an indicator of possible power dynamics and bias.

4. Understand the direct effect of the quality of education on excellence for work and personal progress.

4.1. Believe that everybody can change their world.
